You may assume that if we can't conquer a plank right off the bat that we have failed in some way. That just isn't true.
A plank takes deep core strength (and if you don't have it you can hurt yourself in plank), side body strength, and forearm strength to help protect your wrists.
This video will help you build strength in your plank. The cues in this video will help you to connect to your body, rather than hang in it during your planks.
This video is also a great quick arms and abs workout for those of you that want a little bonus at the end of your workout or are too busy for a full session.
